Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan Sikap Keluarga Pasien Stroke melalui Video Mirror Therapy: Promosi Kesehatan Berbasis Self Care

Abstract

Video terapi cermin merupakan media edukasi kesehatan yang terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga pasien stroke terkait perawatan mandiri di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi seberapa besar pengaruh video terapi cermin dibandingkan dengan pamflet dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan sikap keluarga terhadap perawatan stroke. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan dua kelompok, masing-masing terdiri dari 15 responden: satu kelompok menerima edukasi melalui video terapi cermin dan kelompok lainnya melalui pamflet. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner, dan analisis menggunakan uji-t sampel independen. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kelompok video memperoleh skor pengetahuan rata-rata sebesar 10,13 dan skor sikap 31,33, sedangkan kelompok pamflet memperoleh skor pengetahuan 8,80 dan sikap 29,27. Uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok dengan nilai p masing-masing 0,044 untuk pengetahuan dan 0,047 untuk sikap (p < 0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa video terapi cermin lebih efektif dibandingkan pamflet dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap keluarga pasien stroke, sehingga disarankan penggunaannya sebagai media edukasi utama dalam perawatan stroke di rumah.
